Do you have a wooden or fiberglass door? It’s critical to maintain your varnish on your doors.

Clear finishes break down when exposed to rain, sun or snow.

You know your clear finish is starting to break down when it becomes dull; starting from the bottom and working its way up the door as it gains exposure.

So, monitor the bottom of your door, if it’s not shiny it’s time to coat it.

Take care of it before it’s too late and you have to do more extensive work for being negligent.

Typically, if your door is in an area exposed to sun and the weather elements, you probably need to varnish your door every one to three years.

With our high quality clear paints, you can typically get three to five years of protection.

If your door is in a protected area, you can probably hold off on re-applying varnish every 15 or 20 years, unless it gets scratched pretty hard.

Make sure to check your doors, and if the paint is dull, it’s time to re-paint and protect your door from further damage.
